*Best Bang for the Buck* bars to go to in Buffalo - By: Siclari / Sports

If you want to go out with friends or go somewhere to watch sports. These bars are a great idea. I have said this multiple times, I hate paying $5 for any domestic beer, sadly that seems to be the trend lately.  In my travels I have come across some sweet spots to not only watch sports but to hang out with friends without spending $23 on an IPA and $10 for a Bud Light (exaggeration). In no particular order:   Adolfs Old First Ward Tavern The bar tenders are fantastic and friendly. Open space in the back with lots of room. When it is nice outside there is a back patio with cornhole. TouchTunes and dart board inside. Great selection of beers. Great Chicken Fingers.  Sports City Pizza Pub Thank you Sarah and Garret for suggesting we go here. Great selection of beers. Buckets specials. Amazing Stuffed Pepper Pizza. TONS of TV's. Untapped TV going for you to -Check In-. Main game will have sound on. Union Pub I will start by saying their dome

First Ward Parade vs. Downtown Parade - St. Patrick's Day // By: Siclari

Both have their pros and cons - I choose First Ward (its because I am old) Here we go again. Another year, another St. Patrick’s Day in Buffalo. The day everyone is Irish. Everyone wearing green, girls putting Four Leaf clovers on their cheeks.   Hundreds of 10 second Snap Chat videos. Before I dive into St. Patrick’s Day can I tell you one of the worst things ever? Snap Chats of concert, Parades, the shout song, really anything at a live event. Its annoying.   No one needs a selfie of you singing the shout song, scanning the crowd, we have all been there. No one needs a snap chat of a concert, we can’t see or hear anything on the video anyways, and no one needs a snap chat of a parade. manly because parades are dumb.                              OK, back to St. Patrick’s Day. Saturday you have Frist Ward/South Buffalo Parade and on Sunday you have the Downtown Parade. Two awesome parades, (let me say again when I say “Parades” I’m talking about the atmosphere around the pa

Worst fan in Buffalo gives us his opinion on the Buffalo Sabres “I need to be better.” “We weren’t ready to play.” “We need to play a full 60 minutes.” “We’ll learn from this.” These post game quotes, heard all too often from players and coaches both past and present, sum up pretty much my entire lifetime as a Buffalo Sabres fan. The players change, the coaches change, the GMs change, hell, the owners change – but the results have largely been the same. Mediocre to bad hockey. Why is that? How many times do we have to be told we are headed in the right direction before we actually reach our final destination? What is our final destination? Is it to be a perennial contender and win Stanley Cups, as Terry Pegula said in his introductory press conference some 8 years ago? Or is it to be competitive and play in meaningful games in the spring, as Jason Botterill has said on multiple occasions this year? Whatever the answer is, the Sabres have fallen woefully short of pretty much every
