In the Heart of Williamsville sits Glen Park Tavern. A popular spot for not only the towny crowd but also the influx of traffic for “Music on Main”I have heard “try the wings at GPT” When you walk in there is a long bar down the left side. Usually crowded with people over 50.
Small place with a lot of people.
Seeing how this is my first go at this, I want to let you know I will not only be rating the Wings (the most important part) but the place and the atmosphere. Let me preface that these are MY opinions along with help and guidance from people along the way. For the establishment I always want certain things when I am enjoying a beer and wings (besides wings)
Establishment:
1. TouchTunes
2. Dart Board
3. Pool Table
4. TV’s to watch sports
5. Good atmosphere.
6. Beer Selection
For the wings:
1. Taste
2. Crispness
3. Sauce
4. Presentation.
Along the way I will have friends and family join me while trying different wings, i.e. BBQ, HottestWing (Marty), and specialty flavor.
Alright, back to Glen Park Tavern (GPT). These wings were medium, extra crispy. Presentation was not bad. 10 wings on one side of the plates with carrots, celery and 2 cups of Blu cheese.
I will be trying the Almighty, the perfect, the amazing flat wing, along with its counter part drumstick
every time.
The crispyness of the flat was not bad, but not good. Not much flavor. Next up was the drumstick where I had 2 bites and put it in the bucket of the dead (bone bucket). The drumstick was soft and not crispy along with 0 flavor.
Recap:If you’re looking for a place non busy time and want a domestic beer, sure, stop in.

Wings:
1. Taste - 3 : not much flavor.
2. Crispyness - 3 : flat was ok, nothing on drumstick.
3. Sauce - 2 : not only was there no sauce on the wings, there was hardly any even on the plate.
4. Presentation - 6 : I liked the set up wings, carrot, celery, 2 cups of blu with a side bowl for the bones.
OVERALL: 3.5

4. TV’s - 3 TV’s - no ideal for sports watching. 2 in each corner of bar and 1 near the entrance.
5. Good Atmosphere: 6 - Friendly people alwaysopen for a conversation.
6. Beer Selection : 4 - decent options on tap butnot much out of the box options. If you drink a lot of beer you most likely had everything they have.
